Acceptable Use Policy

The rules for using Nidavellirs products responsibly. This policy protects our users and the internet from abuse — especially misuse of short links, QR codes and pages.

Effective: Last updated:

01Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses any Nidavellirs product. It is part of our Terms of Service. You are responsible for the content you create and for how your links, QR codes and pages are used.

02Prohibited content and destinations

You must not use the Services to create, host, link to or distribute:

  • Malware, ransomware, spyware or any code designed to harm or gain unauthorised access to systems.
  • Phishing pages or content that deceptively collects credentials, payment or personal data.
  • Child sexual abuse material, or content that sexualises minors — reported to authorities without exception.
  • Content that promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or incites violence or self-harm.
  • Content that infringes intellectual-property rights or misappropriates others' brands.
  • Illegal goods or services, or content unlawful in the applicable jurisdiction.
  • Doxxing or content that harasses, threatens or endangers a person.

03Prohibited conduct

  • Spam — sending unsolicited bulk messages, or using our links/QR codes in spam campaigns.
  • Deceptive linking / cloaking — disguising a link's true destination, or bait-and-switch redirects that change to harmful content after review.
  • Fraud — impersonation, scams, fake giveaways, or pump-and-dump / deceptive financial schemes.
  • Abuse of infrastructure — attempting to breach, probe or disrupt the Services, bypass rate limits, or scrape at scale.
  • Artificial traffic — inflating clicks or analytics with bots or automated requests.
  • Reselling the Services without authorisation, or circumventing plan limits.

04How we enforce this policy

We use automated and manual checks to detect abuse. When we find a violation, we may — depending on severity — disable specific links or content, add interstitial warnings, suspend or terminate the account, and report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities. We may act without prior notice where there is risk of harm.

05Reporting abuse

If you encounter a Nidavellirs link, QR code or page that you believe violates this policy, report it to info@nidavellirs.com with the URL and details. We review reports promptly.

06Changes to this policy

We may update this AUP to address new forms of abuse. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version.
